The “Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) Adapted for Children and Their Parents” is a liturgical and educational experience of growing in faith for children, eight years of age and older, who have not yet been baptized or who were baptized but never made their First Communion.
The children, accompanied by their parents, learn what it means to be young Catholics as they prepare for Baptism, Reconciliation, and Eucharist. Age-appropriate lessons and guidance draw on the spiritual experience the children already have and provide them with the foundations of the Catholic faith upon which they can grow.
For more information about RCIA for Children and their Parents, please contact Michelle O'Donnell, the Director of Religious Education.
